Oil Painting Sunset June 18th

Thursday June 18th 6:30-9pm

*This is the first class of the June oil painting series on Thursdays, but you may take a single class at a time if you can’t attend all 4 in the series.

Discover the foundations of oil painting in this workshop designed for beginners or those looking for deeper quality instruction. Through step-by-step demo, you’ll learn essential techniques including color mixing, brushwork, layering, and how to observe and paint light. In this session, learn how to paint gorgeous color transitions in bold clouds and reflective light over water with an ocean sunset.

All supplies are included for use in class, and no prior experience necessary!

Recommended age 14 and up. Minors to be accompanied by adults with their own tickets.

*Prepare a space in your car to take your paintings home- it will still be wet to the touch as oil paintings take a long time to dry. You can lay it flat in the trunk with our newsprint, or bring a brown paper grocery bag to store it in during transport
