Palette Knife Oil Painting Misty Sun August 11th

$65.00

Tuesday 6:30-9pm August 11th Palette Knife Misty Sun

*This is the Second class of the August oil painting series on Tuesdays, but you may take a single class at a time if you can’t attend all 4 in the series.

Discover the foundations of oil painting in this workshop designed for beginners or those looking for deeper quality instruction. Through step-by-step demo, you’ll learn essential techniques including color mixing, brushwork, layering, and how to observe and paint light.

In this session, learn to use a palette knife to apply paint to the canvas to create chunky texture and bold marks. Explore how the use of different materials to make marks creates interest and enhances artistry.

All supplies are included for use in class, and no prior experience necessary!

Recommended age 14 and up. Minors to be accompanied by adults with their own tickets.

*Prepare a space in your car to take your paintings home- it will still be wet to the touch as oil paintings take a long time to dry. You can lay it flat in the trunk with our newsprint, or bring a brown paper grocery bag to store it in during transport
