Oil Painting Botanical Nov 8th

All supplies are included for use in class, and no prior experience necessary!

Sunday November 8th - 2:30-5pm

Discover the foundations of oil painting in this workshop designed for beginners or those looking for deeper quality instruction. Through step-by-step demo, you’ll learn essential techniques including color mixing, brushwork, layering, and how to observe and paint light. In this session, learn how to layer and blend to create light falling on a lush house plant. Along the way, you'll explore how simple shapes and repeated marks can create a dynamic, contemporary composition.

Recommended age 14 and up. Minors to be accompanied by adults with their own tickets.

*Prepare a space in your car to take your paintings home- it will still be wet to the touch as oil paintings take a long time to dry. You can lay it flat in the trunk with our newsprint, or bring a brown paper grocery bag to store it in during transport
