Oil Painting Light and Shadow Nov 15

All supplies are included, and no prior experience necessary!

Sunday Nov 15th 1:30-4PM

Capture the quiet beauty of light and shadow in this soft, atmospheric oil painting class. Inspired by glowing windows at sunset, you’ll create a single painting featuring silhouetted plants.

In this workshop, we’ll focus on building luminous, layered color using a sunset-inspired pastel palette and blending oils to achieve soft, glowing light transitions.

Students will be guided step-by-step through the oil painting process, including color mixing, brushwork, creating movement, and layering paint to achieve rich colors and buttery blends. Expect 1 on 1 guidance and help through out the class, and a relaxing afternoon of creativity.

Recommended age 14 and up. Minors to be accompanied by adults with their own tickets.

*Prepare a space in your car to take your painting home- it will still be wet to the touch as oil paintings take a long time to dry. You can lay it flat in the trunk, or bring a brown paper grocery bag to store it in during transport
