Botanicals in Watercolor Jan 6th 6:30 - 8pm
Tuesday January 6th 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Create abstracted and asymmetric botanical paintings using inspiration from Ikebana- the Japanese art of floral arranging focusing on minimalism and harmony. In this class, we’ll explore balance through flowing lines, negative space, and blooming colors. Make expressive marks and experiment freely with how watercolor blooms and blends to create a contemporary piece worthy of your wall.
Class suited for beginners and experienced painters alike.
All materials provided for use in class.
Recommended age 14 and up. Minors to be accompanied by adults with their own tickets.
You do not need to purchase a supply kit, but may in advance or during class if you would like a set to keep.
Frames will be available for purchase after class.
